Sony Ericsson seems to be doing pretty well in the looks department as far as mobile phones are concerned. The announcement of the Sony Ericsson Aino marks yet another handset that is destined to become a firm favourite with Son Ericsson lovers everywhere.
So what is so special about the Sony Ericsson Aino? Well it seems that Sony are keen to create a phone that will work alongside its PS3 console. The Aino does just that, allowing users to control their PS3 remotely using their mobile device. So is this the rumoured PSP phone? Sadly not, although it will allow users to interact with their PS3 when they are not in the room. The only feature that I have found so far is the ability to turn your PS3 on or off, but I am sure that plenty more features will be announced in due course.

When Sony Ericsson decided that it was going to build upon the success of its walkman series, few were surprised. Then they saw the spec list of what could possibly be the phone of 2009, the Sony Ericsson W995. Not only does this spectacular mobile phone come complete with an 8MP camera , the same as the Sony Ericsson C905, it also comes with the walkman features that are associated with the W-series phones that we have come to know and love over the years.
One of the features worth shouting about here is the new Media Go platform that intends to organise your music and tracks for you. We haven’t had a go on it yet, but for me, anything that makes my life easier is a good thing. There is also a 2.6 inch screen and an 8MP memory stick as standard. There is a 3.5mm audio jack so you can use your own headphones rather than the ones supplied. This seems to be the first time that we have seen a phone that is competent in both the camera and the music department. We have huge expectations for the Sony Ericsson W995 when it is released later this year, mainly because it does so many things so well. We reckon you should most definitely wait for the W995 to come out on contract later this year as we are yet to see anything else that compares.
