Sony Ericsson has been churning out exciting mobile phones lately and the last few months of the year will see its highly anticipated Jalou fashion phone hitting the markets. The Sony Ericsson Jalou will be marketed to compete with trendy fashion mobile phones,
The Jalou comes in a faceted clamshell form façade with a choice of three colors: Aquamarine Blue, Deep Amethyst, or Onyx Black. Beneath its gorgeous facade is a quad band GSM/GPRS/EDGE and a triband UMTS with 3G and high speeds HSDPA support for truly fast speeds when browsing and downloading over the net.
The Sony Ericsson Jalou has support for social networking and Google apps, Exchange and a capable NetFront browser that supports YouTube. There’s a 3.2 megapixel CyberShot camera with video light, geo-tagging and video recording. A WalkMan music player, stereo FM radio and Bluetooth with A2DP support gets is as standard feature as well.
Pioneering features
Apart from a nifty user interface that adapts to zodiac signs changes and special events in the year, you get two features considered firsts in the Sony Ericsson stable. It 2.2” QVGA screens doubles as a compact mirror at a touch of a key and you have a WalkMate pedometer measures your steps when walking or jogging.
Dolce & Gabbana Dresses It Up
A limited edition Sony Ericsson Jalou will come dressed up fashion house Dolce & Gabbana to make it a fashion accessory that is sure to turn heads. It gets a 24-Karat Gold trim around an elegant rose color body and will come packaged with special earphone and some exclusive D&G items. Be prepared for its upscale price tag to go.
With new Sony Ericsson handsets running Android, Windows Mobile and Symbian, it looks like 2009 will be the turning point for Sony Ericsson’s new innovative image in the mobile phone market. Watch out for the Jalou hitting the market anytime soon.
