Giving The Android A Try With The Sony Ericsson Xperia X10

Sony Ericsson Xperia X10The Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 will be Sony Ericsson’s first foray into Android technology. They have created a feature-rich phone which has very impressive specs. Androids are becoming more and more popular with many mobile phone manufactures interested in incorporating its technology into their phones.

The Xperia X10 is a pretty impressive mobile phone. It has a large display WVGA display screen at 4 inches. The resolution is 480×854 pixels. It shows more then 65,000 colors and is a capacitive touch screen. The 65k colors is a bit paltry especially for this nice of a smartphone. Even still, the size of the display is really nice and the resolution is still decent.  It utilizes a 1500 mAh battery.

The phone’s digital camera is 8.1 megapixels which is of incredible high quality. It gives users the ability to stabilize the images they capture on the phone and also has auto-focus abilities, LED flash geo-tagging support, smile detection, facial recognition and digital zoom. Individuals will also be able to record video.

The Xperia X10 comes with a lot of memory at 1GB. More can be added via the phone’s microSD slot. The phone also comes with Wi-Fi, GPS and Bluetooth. It runs on an Android 1.6 OS.

Overall, the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 looks like it is going to be a very good phone. It has an impressive amount of features including its feature-rich 8.1 megapixel digital camera and video recording capabilities. Its screen is large at 4 inches and it has WiFi and Bluetooth. It is Sony Ericsson’s first attempt at incorporating Android technology in its phones and it looks like they wanted to go all out. They have designed and manufactured a pretty impressive mobile phone that has generated a ton of interest because it is the company’s first Android Smartphone. People will be looking to see if it becomes a success or if it will crash and burn.
