By the end of 2009 we are likely to see at least two Androids from both LG and Motorola, as Google speculated would happen earlier this year.

October guarantees us the release of both companies first ever Android mobile phones, Motorola’s “Shules” and LG’s “GW620”, both of which boast full QWERTY keyboards, 5 mega pixel cameras with auto focus, inbuilt GPS, wi-fi and a touch screen – both in a flip style design.

The epic battle between the two Android mobile phones will be an interesting and intense one, with both phones boasting almost identical features, and both LG and Motorola choosing to aim the phone at buyers who prefer using their phones to social network and message above all else.

LG has the advantage of a larger following than Motorola in recent years, however if Motorola makes the Shules available on a cheaper plan than the GW620 it may see a return to the former glory it enjoyed in the late 1990s and early 2000s.

The one innovation Motorola has made has been “Motoblur”; something Motorola claims is a technology unique to it, allowing a person to sync up their contacts, photos and messages from Yahoo, Twitter, Facebook and MySpace.

While LG boasts no such uniquely new and useful technology, it has stated that it has plans to release a whopping 13 new smartphone handsets over the coming 16 months, and is expected to unveil another three Windows Mobile smartphones within the next month, meaning they will offer a much greater choice to customers.

With the official announcement of its release by the last quarter of the year, we are still awaiting price and technical information about LG’s new Chocolate phone. Official photos of the LG BL40 Chocolate released by the Korean phone maker LG reveal a few interesting details the company is silent about.  We all have speculated on its large widescreen which is also a touchscreen but it not appears to be a vibrant and superb 4-inch 800×345 pixel LCD screen that is identical to the Nokia E90.  An accelerometer sensor should be there as the photos show the BL40 in both landscape and portrait orientation.

You should count yourselves very lucky, you know, that this blog is so coherent. Not in terms of, say, most of literature, of course. Well well well, would you look at this… a genuine, no messing, real as real can be rumour, straight from us to you. This isn’t one of those fake rumours either. One of those, oohhh, have you heard about this phone that Sony Ericsson have just started whispering about whilst at the same time launching a multi-million pound campaign. Oh no, this is a rumour that comes with only two grainy photos, no video, and even an official denial of sorts. That’s right, because the LG Louvre is not even confirmed as definitely even being an actual phone yet, still as it is in concept stage, as this LG suit warbled on recently: “The LG Louvre GC990 is a great example of the type of mobile technology innovation LG is developing. This is a concept model only however, and as such there are no confirmed plans to bring it to market. As we have further details on our camera-phone portfolio or other mobiles, LG will provide information on where and when they will be available to consumers.”

So, will it get released and join the rank of LG mobile phones? Course it will, especially seeing as how gullible blogging types like us are swooning over this thing with more drool than a sour sweet tasting convention. Because this is the first of the so-called (by us) supercameraphones that actually looks like it might be a super cameraphone. Others (the Satio, one of the Omnias with lots of numbers in its title that we forget) may have had 12 megapixels or the ability to record HD video too, but the GC990 manages both. And judging by the look of the back of the thing (get image searching if you don’t believe us) it also looks more like a camera than anything else we’ve ever seen.

So there we have it… if this thing wasn’t so new, in fact, we’d be pointing you towards a video to watch, but there’s nothing even out there, apart from this LG Louvre review.

LG saw its newly introduced LG Viewty achieve great success at the Mobile World Conference and decided to add a latest member to the line, naming it the LG Viewty Smart.
